The White Bass spawn has started and should get better in the next couple of weeks. There are White Bass in the river but the bite is slow. There are White Bass on the dam but with the weather this week the bite is also slow. The bass in the river and on the dam are hitting on Road Runners, Doll flies, and jigs and twister tails. |

The Walleye spawn is about over but there have been some males caught on the dam. These males are 18-20 inch fish. The Walleye will start showing up on the flats and around the brush lines in the next few weeks. |
CATFISH |

Catfish are hitting at the bridge south of Alma and up the river. There have been fish caught as far up the river as Oxford. The catfish have started on the lake from the bank. There are no shad gizzards in the area to be bought as of now, but crawlers, Shrimp and Shad strips are working some. |

The lake level is at 1943.9 down 2.1 ft. from full pool. The river flow level is 570.2 cfs at Orleans. All camp ground boat ramps are in service at this time.
Hunting : there are a lot of Turkey in the area. We have seen and weighted some large Toms (23-22-21 lb) |
